...It is therefore ordered, that Edmond Calthorp, Thomas Maston, of the City of London, haberdashers, and John Wanton, of the said City, grocer, men well acquainted with the manner of exchanges and rechanges, to and from the City of London, and to and from foreign parts, may make and give sufficient warrant to all persons for exchange and rechange, agreeable to the Statutes; and therefore, from henceforth, ail Bills of exchange and rechange indorsed or subscribed with the name and hand writing of them, or any of them, shall be sufficient warrant both for the deliverer and the taker.
